Irvin Rudoph Kriewaldt, longtime Langlade resident, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at Rosalia Gardens in Antigo under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. He was 100 years old. He was born on Nov. 4, 1915, in Shawano County, son of the late John and Eva (Geith) Kriewaldt. He married Esther Bohm on Dec. 12, 1936, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bonduel. Judith C. Wilber, 73, of Shawano, was called home by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015. She went home peacefully, surrounded by her family as they held her hands and sang her favorite hymn. Judith was born on Oct. 6, 1942, in Oshkosh, the daughter of the late Philip A. Lyman Sr. and Adelyne E. (Krentz) Lyman. She lived all of her childhood in Oshkosh. She raised her family in Shawano.

Christopher T. Shames, 26, of Bonduel, earned his angels wings on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at his home. He was born on Nov. 12, 1989, to Elizabeth (Hale) Shames and Eric T. Shames. Christopher was born with a heart defect and suffered a catastrophic brain injury in surgery as a toddler in 1992. He was cared for at home by his mother.
