The story of the Menominee people, including the stories about their clans, has returned home to roost.
The College of Menominee Nation flipped the switch March 22 and added the Menominee Clans Story to its website, www.menominee.edu. Previously, the story had resided online at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point’s website.
Dustin Robaidek is challenging Shawano County Board incumbent Kathy Luebke in the new District 12.
The district includes Ward 1 in the Town of Maple Grove, Wards 4 and 7 in Pulaski and Ward 1 in the Town of Angelica.
The election will be held April 2, and the winner will serve a two-year term.

Randy Mallmann is challenging incumbent Shawano County Board member Devin Krizan for the District 18 position in the April 2 election.
The seat covers Ward 3 in the Town of Richmond and Ward 5 in the Town of Wescott.
Because the boundaries of the districts were redrawn due to the 2020 Census, Krizan and fellow board member Steve Gueths were placed in the same district.
U.S. Rep. Mike Gallagher announced March 22 he will resign his seat in Congress effective April 19.
He had earlier announced he would not seek another term in the November election.
“After conversations with my family, I have made the decision to resign my position as a member of the House of Representatives for Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District,” he said.
James John Ward, 88, Green Bay, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024.
Friends and family will gather at Seventh-Day Adventist, 1414 Shawano Ave., from 3-5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27. The funeral service will follow at 5 p.m., fellowship to follow.
