Authorities early Sunday responded to a report of a break-in at an ice shack and subsequently arrested two men on outstanding warrants. The group, which served almost 3,000 students last year, sent letters to area businesses last month with information on the 2014-15 school year’s successes and a request to support similar programs and new ventures this school year. Clintonville’s annual Winter Whirl will begin with a used book sale from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Clintonville Public Library, 75 Hemlock St. The sale will continue on from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. On Saturday, there will be a pie and ice cream social at the Clintonville Community Center, 30 S. Main St., from 10 a.m until 2 p.m. The 27th annual Tummy Warmer Cook-Off will be held at the Clintonville Recreation Center from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

A 22-year-old Clintonville man was arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop Sunday in Marion. About 2 p.m. Sunday, a Marion officer attempted to stop the man on East Ramsdell Street for speeding.

Gresham Community School On Wednesday there was a blood drive at the school. Thank you to everyone who donated. On Friday, the middle school and high school went to Sylvan Hills on an incentive trip. The students got to enjoy a day of sledding and fun. Exams for all high school students start Wednesday. Thursday will be the last day of exams and the end of first semester. There will be no school on Friday.

David Marshall Tousey, 63, of Waupun, passed away on Jan. 15, 2016, in Fond du Lac. David was born on June 1, 1952, on the Stockbridge-Munsee Reservation to the late Milton Francis and Ozelda “Dootie” (Ninham) Tousey. David attended the Bowler schools and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1974.

Carmen Lucille Schultz, 87, of Shawano, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, in Shawano. Carmen was born on July 19, 1928, in the town of Weston to the late Herman and Josephine (Guzman) Reger. On Dec. 21, 1974, Carmen was united in marriage to Howard J. Schultz in Schofield.

Antone “Tony” Nickodem, 94, of Loon Lake, Shawano, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, Jan.
