Authorities early Sunday responded to a report of a break-in at an ice shack and subsequently arrested two men on outstanding warrants.
Shawano County authorities were not releasing details of the incident, but Shawano police were asked to assist in locating the subjects shortly before 9 a.m.
The sheriff’s department said a 20-year-old Shawano man and an 18-year-old Marion man were taken into custody on outstanding warrants in connection with the incident.
The initial report, according to the Police Department incident list, was that subjects with guns and ski masks had broken into a structure and then fled.
The sheriff’s department confirmed the structure was an ice shack. They said the incident remains under investigation.
