Running back Chris Brooks signed with the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2023. Brooks made the Dolphins final roster. Oconto County Sheriff’s Patrol Lt. Chad Angus has been promoted to chief deputy of the department, Sheriff Todd Skarban announced at the Sept. 19 meeting of the Oconto County Board. “I’ve known Chad my entire law enforcement career. Having finished the story of my great-great grandmother Anna Maria Holzschuh, I am turning the page to write about one of her hundreds of descendants, my daughter, Jina.
