Pulaski soccer team defeats Beaver Dam

Sept. 19 Pulaski 3, Beaver Dam 1 The Red Raiders took down the Golden Beavers 3-1 in a non-conference matchup. Pulaski jumped out early with a goal from Dakota Messenger in the third minute. AJ Schenk assisted on the score. Hudson Schultz added a Red Raider goal in the 49th minute to double the lead. Beaver Dam (1-6-2, 0-2-1) converted a penalty kick in the 70th minute to cut into the lead. Maddox McKeefry added a goal in the final minutes to put Pulaski (8-1-2, 0-1) back up by two. Josh Roth had four saves in goal for the Red Raiders. Carson Franke made eight saves in goal for the Golden Beavers. Newman Catholic 8, Gresham/Bowler 0 Gresham/Bowler was shut out 8-0 at Gresham against Central Wisconsin foe Newman Catholic. Newman Catholic scored six times in the first half and twice more after intermission. Gresham/Bowler dropped to 0-5 in conference action and 1-7 overall. West De Pere 1, Shawano 0 Shawano lost its first Bay Conference battle of the year, a 1-0 shutout at the hands of West De Pere. The Hawks are 2-1 in league play and 6-3 overall.
