County board approves 2025 budget
The Oconto County Board on Oct. 31 passed a $53.789 million budget for 2025, funded in part by a $22.2 million property tax levy. The numbers represent a 7.2% increase in expenditures over the adopted 2024 budget but only a 0.7% increase in the property tax levy for county purposes.
Vets 4 Vets to host spaghetti dinner
Vets 4 Vets of Northeast Wisconsin is hosting its 22nd Annual Veterans Spaghetti Dinner from 3-6 p.m. Nov. 11 at Red Maple Country Club, 501 Golf Course Road, Suring. The organization will again be offering a spaghetti, meatball, and garlic bread dinner, with carryout available on request. Full cash bar and dining room service at Red Maple will be available.
