Shawano 1, Rice Lake 1 (11-10)
Shawano’s boys soccer team is in the state tournament after a pair of shootouts in both sectional games.
On Nov. 2, Shawano and Rice Lake tied 1-1 for the sectional championship, but the Hawks prevailed 11-10 in the shoot-out.
Two days earlier, the team won a 5-4 shootout after a 1-1 tie against Lakeland.
The state tournament is played at Southeast Sales Powersports Stadium at Uihlein Soccer Park, Milwaukee.
In Division 3 action, No. 1 St. Augustine Prep will take on No. 4 Delavan-Darien at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 7, and No. 2 Sheboygan Falls will take on No. 3 Shawano at 7 p.m.
The winner of the two games will face off at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 9 for the state title.
