Bonduel High School softball coach Chris Reinke wasn’t comfortable with a 5-1 lead in the second inning of Monday’s Central Wisconsin Conference-8 game against Amherst, but it proved to be enough. Hawks' rough start leads to loss
Falling behind 7-2 in the first two innings, the Shawano Community High School softball team went on to lose 9-3 Tuesday to Bay Conference foe West De Pere at Martzke Sports Park in Shawano. Shawano (5-7, 4-4 Bay) gave up five runs to start the game. Wescott man's death ruled accidental drowning
Authorities believe a Wescott man reported missing last year accidentally drowned after falling into a pond shortly after he was seen for the last time. The body of Paul Hudson, 42, was found in a pond near his home in the Whispering Pines area of Wescott around 3 p.m.
