Marge E. Frank, 94, of Suring, passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at Woodlands Nursing Home, Suring. She was born to the late Earl and Meta (Madsen) Carson on Aug. 17, 1920, in Breed. Her life was spent helping others through the church community and family.

The 2015 Senior and Junior Fairest of the Fair will be selected April 11 at Oconto Falls High School. To be eligible for the Oconto County Senior Fairest of the Fair, a contestant must be a resident of Oconto County and 18 years old as of Jan.

The 2015 officer team of the Oconto Falls FFA Alumni affiliate was installed following the group’s annual meeting Feb. 3. The incoming team includes Ken Harter, president; Al Stranz, vice president; Carol Iverson, treasurer; and Belinda Chou, secretary. Harter and Iverson were newly elected, and Stranz and Chou are returning officers. Andy Wolf and Virgy Damp retired from the offices of president and treasurer, respectively.

Candie Lehto, a member of the Oconto Falls FFA Alumni affiliate, was seated on the Wisconsin FFA Alumni Association Council representing Section 8 at the conclusion of the organization’s annual meeting and convention Feb.

Anders, 55, Oconto, on felony charges of possession of child pornography (10 counts), which allegedly occurred Nov. 13 in Oconto. A $150,000 cash bond continues. An arraignment is scheduled March 12. A 24-year-old man from Tennessee was arrested Feb. 11 after an altercation at the apartment of his brother, a 26-year-old man living on Columbia Street. The man was arrested for second-degree reckless endangerment of safety, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. A 42-year-old man and his 22-year-old son were issued disorderly conduct citations Feb. 16 following a disturbance at Riverview Quick Mart, 418 N. Main St.

The town and village of Lena will share ownership of the Lena Public Library, effective Sept.
