A waiver preliminary hearing was held for Gregory M. Anders, 55, Oconto, on felony charges of possession of child pornography (10 counts), which allegedly occurred Nov. 13 in Oconto. A $150,000 cash bond continues. An arraignment is scheduled March 12.
A waiver preliminary hearing was held for Cody L. McDougal, 21, Green Bay, on a felony charge of possession with intent to deliver THC and two misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred Feb. 1 in Stiles. A $1,500 cash bond continues. A plea and sentencing hearing is scheduled March 5.
A waiver preliminary hearing and arraignment were held for Lashawn D. Campbell, 22, Oconto. He pleaded not guilty to felony charges of second degree reckless endangering safety-domestic abuse and two misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred Jan. 27 in Oconto. A $5,000 cash bond continues. A pretrial conference is scheduled Feb. 26.
A waiver preliminary hearing and bond review were held for Ryan W. Shevey, 55, Lena, on a felony charge of possession of narcotic drugs and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred Jan. 14 in Little River. The $1,500 cash bond was reduced to $500 cash bond. An arraignment is scheduled March 12.
An initial appearance was held for Trinity N. Steinhoff, 16, Peshtigo, on a felony charge of operator flee/elude officer-bodily harm or property damage which allegedly occurred Feb. 17 in Oconto. The court set a $15,000 cash bond with the condition of no contact with the victim. A preliminary hearing is scheduled March 10.
An initial appearance was held for Jarrad M. Boyd, 32, Shawano, on felony charges of child abuse intentionally cause harm and strangulation and suffocation and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred Jan. 16 in Gillett. The court set a $5,000 signature bond. A adjourned initial appearance is scheduled March 12.
A resentencing hearing was held for Murry Wayne Locke, 62, Sturtevant, on felony charges of possession of child pornography (two counts) Aug. 2 and Sept. 3, 2010, in Riverview. For count 1, the total length of sentence is 12 years, with initial confinement of seven years and extended supervision of five years. Defendant must register as a sex offender and is to have no contact with children under 18 and may not use any electronic devices capable of accessing the Internet. For count 2, the total length of sentence is 12 years, consecutive to count 1, with initial confinement of seven years and extended supervision of five years.
Proceedings from Feb. 17
An initial appearance was held for Scott J. Arveson, 45, Denmark, on felony charges of use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, child enticement with sexual contact and cause a child 13-18 to view sexual activity, which allegedly occurred Feb. 13 and 15 in Oconto Falls. The court set a $50,000 cash bond. An adjourned initial appearance is scheduled March 12.
A waiver preliminary hearing was held for Blake E. Gewont, 39, Krakow, on felony charges of failure to support (four counts), which allegedly occurred October 2011 through May 2013 in the town of Krakow. A $10,000 cash bond continues. An arraignment/plea hearing is scheduled March 3.
Proceedings from Feb. 13
Gabriel J. Kurek, 37, Lena, was sentenced to one year, six months incarceration and two years extended supervision on a felony charge of substantial battery with intentional bodily harm-domestic abuse May 24 in the town of Lena. For one count of bail jumping, he must serve 90 days in jail, consecutive to the other sentence. Another count of bail jumping was dismissed. Conditions of the extended supervision are absolute sobriety, alcohol and other drug abuse and domestic violence treatment programs with any assessment, treatment and follow-up care and no contact with the victim. A Marinette County case was read in and dismissed. A misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct was read in and dismissed.
Robert T. Woosencraft, 49, Oconto, was sentenced to 10 years incarceration and 10 years extended supervision on a charge of felony OWI (seventh, eighth or ninth offense, with a passenger under 16) on July 20 in Little River. He must complete assessment and cognitive behavior classes, maintain absolute sobriety, may not posses firearms or ammunition, and is subject to random drug testing and alcohol and other drug abuse follow-up. A misdemeanor charge and all citations were read in and dismissed.
A sentencing hearing was held for Roy A. Oldenburg, 19, Oconto Falls on a felony charge of possession with intent to deliver THC July 16 in Oconto Falls. A determinate sentence of three years, six months was imposed and stayed, and he was sentenced to one year, six months incarceration and two years extended supervision. He is to have no contact with the victim, maintain absolute sobriety, undergo alcohol and other drug abuse and cognitive intervention assessments, treatment, counseling and follow up. A felony charge of maintain a drug trafficking place and two counts of exposing a child to harmful material June 15 and July 11 were dismissed. On two misdemeanor charges, he received a sentence of six months in jail, to run concurrent.
Joshua L. Bublitz, 26, Shawano, was sentenced to one year incarceration and two years, six months extended supervision on a felony charge of vehicle operator fleeing and eluding an officer Sept. 7 in Gillett. His driver’s license is revoked six months, an ignition interlock is to be placed on his vehicle for 16 months, and he loses six demerit points. On a misdemeanor charge, he was sentenced to 90 days in jail, concurrent to the other sentence. A second misdemeanor charge was dismissed. He must pay pay $1,620 in fines and court costs, further his education, maintain absolute sobriety and successfully complete alcohol and other drug abuse assessment and treatment.
