Feb. 19 Deputies logged 35 incidents, including the following: Overdose - Authorities investigated a report of a 29-year-old woman on South Chase Road in Sobieski who overdosed on pain killers. Recovered Vehicle - Authorities assisted a person on Main Street in Oconto with a vehicle purchased from Craigslist that might have been stolen. Fraud - Authorities investigated a report from a homeowner on South Chase Road in Sobieski who purchased what was believed to be virus protection for the Internet, but appeared to be a scam. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of a dark-colored vehicle partially in the road on County Road J and North River Road, Oconto. Utility Problem - Authorities investigated a power outage on Hogsback Road in Oconto. Feb. 18 Deputies logged 21 incidents, including the following: Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of footprints in the snow at a driveway on Berry Lake Road in Gillett. Juvenile Problem - Authorities assisted a family whose daughter would not come out of the home on Old County U Road, Gillett. Traffic Report - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Road CCC in Oconto Falls. Assault - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle with its tires slashed and front window smashed on Wiskow Road in Cecil. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a vacant home on West Main Street in Lena in which a caller believed someone was staying upstairs. Feb. 17 Deputies logged 20 incidents, including the following: Gas Drive Off - Authorities investigated a gas drive off from Kwik Trip on Main Street in Oconto. Accident - Authorities investigated an accident between a semi and a truck on Sandalwood and Miller Road in Abrams. Suspicious - Authorities assisted with a call from a bus driver who noticed children playing near an old refrigerator on Oconto River Shores in Oconto Falls. Burglary Attempts - Authorities investigated the break-in of multiple campers at Krueger’s Campground on Berry Lake Road in Gillett. Agency Assist - Authorities assisted a caller who stated two of his vehicles were stolen from Peshtigo. One of them may be at the U.S. Highway 141/22 Park and Ride. Feb. 16 Deputies logged 22 incidents, including the following: Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of an unknown person who knocked at a door on Hilbert Road in Sobieski, then took off quickly. Welfare Check - Authorities assisted an out-of-state woman who had not been able to reach her father on East Frontage Road in Little Suamico. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of a hit-and-run accident on Elm Street in Abrams that was witnessed by a bus driver and a parent. Wanted Person - Authorities assisted the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office find a person on County Road H in Gillett. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Valley View Road in Townsend. Feb. 15 Deputies logged 26 incidents, including the following: Welfare Check - Authorities assisted an older man at Krist Oil on Main Street in Suring who seemed to be confused. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a 45- to 50-year-old man dressed in dark clothes with a walking stick and transistor radio on County Road H and Daly Creek Road, walking east toward Lena. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of an intoxicated driver who hit a house on state Highway 32 in Lakewood. The home owner detained the driver. Traffic Report - Authorities investigated a report of a driver who hit something in the road on U.S. Highway 141 and County Road E, causing two flat tires. Ambulance - Authorities assisted with a 30-year-old woman who passed out at state Highway 32 Shell in Lakewood. Feb. 14 Deputies logged 26 incidents, including the following: Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of an unknown vehicle in a driveway on Ball Park Road in Little Suamico. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Four Town Road in Gillett. Tree Down - Authorities cleared large branches on North Park Avenue in Oconto. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a two-vehicle accident on Chicken Shack Road and U.S. Highway 141 in Lena. Disturbance - Authorities investigated a report of a female damaging vehicles in the Old Town Hall parking lot on U.S. Highway 32 in Townsend. Feb. 13 Deputies logged 18 incidents, including the following: Escort - Authorities assisted a person remove personal property from a home on Old 32 in Mountain. Burglary - Authorities investigated a building break-in on County Road R in Suring. Agency Assist - Authorities assisted the Green Bay Police Department locate a person on Morgan River Road in Oconto Falls who was allegedly involved in a domestic incident in Green Bay. Agency Assist - Authorities assisted with a child abuse case involving a 7-year-old child in Lakewood. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of an intoxicated driver in the ditch on Old Highway 141 Road, Lena.
