Jean Marie Waupoose, 78, of Neopit, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, in Waukegan, Ill. Born on Aug. 12, 1935, in Keshena, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Theresa (Tucker) Heath. On Feb. 20, 1954, she was united in marriage to LeRoy J. “Woodchuck” Waupoose in Keshena. He preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 1976. A Shawano woman is facing a felony charge of harboring or aiding a felon who was wanted to by the U.S. Marshal’s office. Jacqueline M. The city of Shawano is looking into whether a downtown water main break last week was an isolated incident or a harbinger of a bigger and potentially expensive problem. The break in the 200 block of South Main Street on Sept. 25 was actually the third such incident involving the water main installed as part of the major Main Street reconstruction project in 2002 and 2003. Thomas Edward Juedes, 67, of California, formerly of Shawano, passed away Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, in California. Born on October 27, 1945, in Shawano, he was the son of the late Emil I. and Irma (Burmeister) Juedes. Thomas had lived in California for the past eight years. Richard Koeller, 73, of Shawano, passed away Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at Birch Hill Care Center in Shawano following a lengthy illness. Richard attended St. Paul Lutheran Church, Stony Hill, for many years. Memorial services and burial will take place Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at St. Paul Lutheran Church and Stony Hill Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.

Sept. 29 was the end to our amazing Doris Elst’s life. She brought music into our lives, gracious hospitality and God.
