The Machickanee Players will top off their 30th anniversary season with a musical melodrama, “The Drunkard or Down with Demon Drink,” by Brian J. Burton. Eugene E. “The Pipper” Pipgrass, 74, of Cecil, formerly of Princeton, Ill., passed away suddenly on Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at his home.
