Optometry added to Oconto NorthLakes Community Clinic

NorthLakes Community Clinic announces the launch of comprehensive optometry services at its Oconto location and welcomes Dr. Marissa Spatz as the clinic’s new optometrist. This new service line expands access to complete eye care for residents throughout the region, including comprehensive eye exams, glasses and contact lenses. Spatz provides vision care to individuals ages 5 and older, with a focus on person-centered service.

Gary ‘Tom’ Van Caster
Gary “Tom” Thomas Van Caster, 83, Oconto Falls, died of old age Tuesday morning, July 22, 2025. With the help of his daughter, Tiffney, he was able to be right where he wanted to be during the end of life process, in his recliner, at home. He was born Jan. 30, 1942, in Green Bay to Harry and Eleanor (Ruby) Van Caster. He grew up in the area and graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1960. He was drafted into the U.S.
