The Clintonville Park and Recreation Commission has instructed director Justin McAuly to get cost estimates for renovating the city’s outdoor swimming pool. McAuly told the commission this week that usage at the outdoor pool has increased this summer. Revenue for the past two weeks was $6,080.66, with more than 100 people using the pool each day.

Four days before he was expected to start, Shawano’s newly hired director of public works informed city officials Tuesday he wouldn’t be taking the job after all. Kent Taylor, who was operations manager at the Green Bay Water Utility, will instead start a new job in Neenah on Friday as that city’s water utility director.

Theft — Items were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of South Union Street. OAS — Police responding to a welfare check on a girl inside a vehicle at Walmart, 1244 E. Green Bay St., caught up with the vehicle after it had left the store.
