Donna M. Bushy

Donna M. Bushy, 57, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021. She was born May 20, 1964, in West Allis. Donna worked as a CNA throughout Wisconsin for over 20 years. On April 25, 2003, she married Jimmy Bushy in Shawano. Donna liked to play darts and was in a dart league for 35 years. She loved Christmastime. She especially loved watching Hallmark movies and decorating her home during the holidays.

Margaret P. “Marge” Escalante, 65, of Shawano, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Marge was born Jan. 27, 1956, in Ironwood, Michigan, a daughter of the late Edward G. and Patricia M. (Cox) Matusewic. She moved to South Branch when she was 16 years old.

Elizabeth Jane Groh
Elizabeth Jane Groh, 91, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021. She was born July 26, 1930, to the late John and Frieda (Welch) Doxtator in Stockbridge. Elizabeth was a proud member of the Stockbridge-Munsee Tribe. She graduated from Stockbridge High School in 1949. Elizabeth went to Fond du Lac College in Fond du Lac. In 1952, she was united in marriage to Marvin Gerber until his passing.

Betsy McCormick died Nov. 27, 2021. She was so much to so many people — an identical twin sister, a wife, a mom, a Greemie to her grandkids, a Packers fan, a stock market enthusiast and a nurturing and loyal friend. She was a diligent researcher and a devoted reader of news and novels.

Leland C. Habeck
Leland C. “Lee” Habeck, 86, of Shawano, passed away peacefully in Shawano on Friday morning, Dec. 3, 2021, with his loving family by his side, following a lengthy battle with cancer. Lee was born April 25, 1935, in the Town of Richmond, a son of the late Julius and Lenora (Jesse) Habeck. He attended country schools prior to Shawano High School where he graduated with the Class of 1952.

Carole A. Doxtator
Carole Ann Doxtator, 69, began her journey home on Tuesday Nov. 30, 2021, at the Marshfield Medical Center surrounded by her children. Carole was born Jan. 21, 1952, in Shawano to the late Harvey and Eleanor Martin. She was an enrolled member of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans. Carole spent her early adult years raising her children and living her life to the fullest.

Aaron Christopher Miller
Aaron Christopher Miller, 33, went to meet Jesus after passing away in a car accident in the early hours of Dec. 4, 2021. Aaron was born Jan. 25, 1988, to Wayne Miller and Leslie (Hawrylkiw) Miller. Aaron grew up in Bowler and later Phoenix, Arizona. After high school, he attended Arizona State University.
