Edgar W. Rakow

Edgar Walter Rakow, 86, of Suring, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021, at home surrounded by his family. Edgar was born Dec. 29, 1934, to the late Albert and Lillie (Pahlow) Rakow on the family farm. In 1955, Edgar bought the family farm, becoming the third-generation owner of the Rakow Farm. Alvina C. Buss
Alvina C. Buss, 85, of Eland, died on Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, at Marshfield Medical Center Weston. Alvina was born Feb. 13, 1936, in Cudahy, the daughter of Leo Hoppe Sr. and Rose (Trzebiatowski) Hoppe Konkol. On June 28, 1958, Alvina was united in marriage to Robert Buss Sr. at St. William’s Catholic Church in Eland. Alvina was devoted to education, earning her degree as a teacher and spending many years teaching at Eland Elementary.
Lois M. Stratton
Lois Mae Stratton (Schultz), 89, of Appleton, passed away at her home on the lake, with her daughters by her side on Nov. 19, 2021. They take great comfort in knowing that she is now pain-free and in heaven with her Savior. Lois was born Nov. 4, 1932, to the late Marvin and Frieda (Marohl) Schultz in Shawano.
Richard H. Wamboldt Sr.
Richard H. Wamboldt Sr., 66, of the Town of Hutchins, passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning, Nov. 19, 2021, in Clintonville. Richard Henry Wamboldt Sr. was born May 15, 1955, in Milwaukee, son to the late Alexander and Anna (Hanson) Wamboldt Jr. He attended Bowler High School and later started working for Atlas Structures. He worked at various places over the years but found his fit at Aarrowcast Inc.
John C. Papendorf
John C. Papendorf, 79, of Marion, passed away in Neenah on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021. John was born in Caroline, Shawano County, on April 17, 1942, to the late Charles and Alvina (Pankow) Papendorf. John grew up on the family’s dairy farm and attended Marion school. After high school he moved to Kenosha where he worked as a machinist at Eaton Dynamatic for over 30 years. On Sept.

Larry L. Genskow, 81, of Clintonville, passed away on Wednesday evening, Nov. 24, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home and Crematory, Clintonville, is assisting the Genskow family.
Samuel A. Wayne
Samuel Alexander Wayne, born Feb. 7, 1988, died Nov. 18, 2021, from respiratory failure at Theda Clark Medical Center - Neenah. As a special-needs adult, Sam struggled with disabilities and served as an inspiration to all who knew him. The son of Kenneth A. Wayne Sr. and Sarabeth Wayne, Samuel was cared for by his parents at home in Suring. Samuel is survived by his parents, his brother Kenneth A. Wayne Jr., sister-in-law Deanna J.
