It is with great sadness Isaac Britzke, 20, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday Nov. 27, 2021. Isaac Thomas was born Jan. 1, 2001, and lived in Appleton with his sister, DeAhndra. He graduated from Kaukauna High School in 2019. He was baptized and confirmed at Bethany Lutheran Church. He recently left his job at ProAmpac and took a job working for Orkin.

Mary B. “Totty” Hawpetoss, 79, of Keshena, began her journey to the spirit world on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, in Shawano. Mary was born in Keshena on March 18, 1942, to the late John Anthony “Duffy” Pema-Hawpetoss “Mayahwasick” and Catherine (Wychesit) Hawpetoss “Kotanee.” Mary held several jobs throughout her life. She began in Manitowoc spending her early years working for Mirro Corp., then at Aitken Reed as a supervisor.

Joseph “Joe” Boehm, 92, of Arbor Vitae, passed away at the Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff on Nov. 26, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Jeannine “Jen” Boehm; six children; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter. A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Lac du Flambeau.

She’s gone like the wind and at peace. Kristin “Kris” Moderson passed away Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, following a battle with kidney cancer. Kris was born in Appleton on July 27, 1955, daughter of Chuck and Audrey Thiel. She graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1973. Kris was a dental assistant for Dr. Gerald Groth for many years, followed by assisting at Dr. Hornseth’s office. She and Mike relocated permanently to Shawano in 2008.

John F. Goodreau, 67, of Shawano, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021. He was born Jan. 14, 1954, to the late John M. and Lorraine (Scholar) Goodreau. He graduated from Shawano High School in 1973. John worked with his dad at Industrial Boiler and then farmed in the Pella area. He worked at Montoure, Inc. for 18 years, followed by Knope Heating and Cooling for 10 years until retirement.

Robert Roland Genke, “Bob,” 55, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, at his home, with his loving family by his side. He was born May 29, 1966, son of Roland and Diane (Neitzel) Genke in Shawano. Bob grew up in Bonduel and attended St. Paul Lutheran School through eighth grade and graduated from Bonduel High School in 1984. After high school, Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army and served on active duty from August 1985 to May 1988.
