A once-in-a-lifetime event will take place at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Parish in Cecil this summer. The United States Council of Catholic Bishops has called for a National Eucharistic Revival, which includes a National Eucharistic Pilgrimage bringing Jesus to different cities and villages throughout the United States.

It’s late winter and Phil is making rounds checking Rockfish Park when he is surprised to see a sow bear and three tiny cubs. Since the sow’s muzzle is covered in blood, Phil assumes she has just made a kill.

Former Oconto County Board Chairman Lee Rymer died May 11. He was 86. “Lee was an ambassador for Oconto County, a well-liked and positive force,” County Clerk Kim Pytleski said at the county board’s May 23 meeting.
