An Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department sergeant with 30 years of law enforcement experience is the new Suring police chief. A school-issued laptop was reported lost or stolen Oct. 4 at Oconto Falls High School, 210 N. Farm Road. A Green Bay woman, 64, crossed through a T-intersection, struck a road sign and entered a ditch about 7:30 p.m. Oct. 4. She was southbound on County Road B approaching state Highway 22 when she failed to stop at the intersection. She said darkness and rain made it difficult to see. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage.
