Renaldo Calvin “Sonny” Lillo, 78, of Bonduel, passed away on Jan. 18, 2016, in Green Bay.
Renaldo was born on Nov. 1, 1937, in Pennington County, Minnesota, the son of the late Herman and Elsie (Wichterman) Lillo. On Jan. 15, 1962, he was united in marriage to Betty DeBoer in South Dakota. She preceded him in death on April 26, 1990.
Renaldo was united in marriage to Arlene (Taylor) Gilbertson on Oct. 6, 1990, at St. Martin Catholic Church in Cecil. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Gillett American Legion Post 300. He enjoyed traveling, dancing, four-wheeling, going for walks, and singing.
Renaldo was a positive man with a great outlook on life and lived life to its fullest. The most important thing to Renaldo was spending time with his family.
Renaldo is survived by his wife, Arlene; children, Kelly (Mike) Imhoff, of Racine, Kerry (Patty) Lillo, of Racine, Ralph (Star) Gilbertson, of Bonduel, Deb Duchac, of Michigan, Lee (Jim) Oliver, of Louisiana, and Parker (Hope) Robbins, of Nevada; 30 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; one brother, Milo Lillo, of Duluth, Minnesota; one sister, Ardith (Harold) Kessler, of Morgantown, West Virginia; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty; one daughter, Barbara Schoemann; his parents; and six brothers and sisters.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, St. Martin Catholic Church in Cecil with Deacon Mike Grzeca officiating. Inurnment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
