Five-year library plan update almost completed

Oconto sheriff’s app now available
The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office now has its own app. Smartphone users can use the app to sign up for Code Red alerts, see the latest news releases or browse mug shots of inmates at the Oconto County Jail, Sheriff Todd Skarban told the county board June 20. Packers Foundation grants Encompass $250K
The Green Bay Packers Foundation has awarded Encompass an Impact Grant that will match gifts to the Oconto Falls Center Campaign dollar-for-dollar up to $250,000. This matching grant challenge will double donations received on or after June 19 the nonprofit child-care agency’s Oconto Falls Center campaign. Town has a problem with poisoned coffee
This week I decided it was time to read something less gory and selected “Murder Behind the Coffeehouse” by Brenda Kennedy and Kayden Keaton. It is the first in their Pineapple Grove Cozy Murder Mystery series. A few years ago, divorcee Piper Armstrong moved to Pineapple Grove, Georgia, and opened “Bean There, Dunk That” coffeehouse. It’s the middle of the night and Piper’s son needs to be bailed out for DUI again.
