The Bonduel High School football team led with defense in a 39-12 win over Peshtigo on Thursday night at Rush Niles Memorial Field. Gerhardt John Busch, 82, of Bonduel, went to his eternal home on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014. Born on May 11, 1932, in the town of Green Valley, Shawano County, Gerhardt was the son of the late Frank and Hulda (Simon) Busch. He graduated from Bonduel High School in 1950. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel. Gerhardt took over the family farm, which he ran throughout his adult life.

An attempt to cap the amount of money put into the Shawano County Courthouse security fund was referred back to committee Wednesday by the Shawano County Board.
