An arrest warrant has been filed for the suspect in a domestic violence incident in Neopit last month who subsequently led authorities on a high-speed chase through Shawano County and into Brown County. David R. Teller, 26, of Neopit, was charged in Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court on Wednesday with a felony count of attempting to flee from an officer in a vehicle.

Daniel J. Owen, 71, of Shawano, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 4, in Shawano. Born on Dec. 31, 1942, he was the son of the late Roger Owen and Dorothy (Grosskopf) Owen. Daniel graduated from Shawano High School in 1961 and went on to work at Four Wheel Drive as a machinist. On Aug. 8, 1964, Daniel was united in marriage to Diane Montour. He enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, fishing, the Packers and Badgers.
