CWC Championship Meet

Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s girls won the conference meet at Standing Rocks County Park & Winter Recreation Area in Stevens Point. The race was hosted by Amherst High School.

The Chargers collected 39 points to lead the seven teams. Bonduel was third with 84 points.

Thursday, Oct. 15

Pulaski 5, Ashwaubenon 1

The Red Raiders finished the regular season with a 5-1 conference win over the Jaguars.

The Pulaski doubles tennis team of Linde Lemerond and Aubrie Schuessler lost their opening round match at the WIAA State Tennis Championships on Oct. 15 in Madison.

The duo was beaten 6-1, 6-0 by Hamilton High School’s Deekshitha Premchand and Harshitha Premchand.

Tuesday, Oct. 13

Neenah 6, Pulaski 3

The Red Raiders fell behind early in Neenah and couldn’t recover, losing to the Rockets 6-3 in a nonconference matchup.

The game featured nine goals. Neenah got first-half goals from Cooper Christie, Tyler Geschrei, Ian Baekte and Awki Medina. Daenen Kehoe scored the first-half goal for Pulaski.

Tuesday, Oct. 13

Crivitz 3, Gillett 1

The Tigers prevented the Wolverines from a three-game sweep after wining the third game 25-19. However, Crivitz won the match with wins in games 1, 2 and 4. Scores of those games were 25-11, 25-11, 25-9.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood 3, Weyauwega-Fremont 0

The Chargers shut out Warhawks in three straight sets to earn the conference win.

Monday, Oct. 12

Shawano 3, Green Bay West 0

The Hawks shut out the Wildcats in a Bay Conference matchup.

Game scores were 25-13, 25-13, 25-16.

With the win, Shawano improves to 12-15 on the season. The Wildcats now own a 1-15 record.
