Judith A. Egge

Judith Ann (Sumnicht) Egge was a caring mother, sister, aunt and friend. She passed away Jan. 26, 2022, at the age of 73, after a short stay with Evergreen Hospice. Judy was a talented gardener and loved spending time in the kitchen, cooking, canning and baking, especially when she could share it. She never tired of helping others, especially her family. Children would gather around Judy as she was young at heart and loved to make them laugh.

Barbara Ann Laux (Hertz)
On Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, we said goodbye to the best wife, mother and grandmother anyone could ask for, much too soon. Our beautiful Barbie passed away as peaceful as a flower, cuddled up with her adoring girls, Annie, Nicki and Peri, son-in-law Ben, and the love of her life, her husband Scott. Barbara Ann was born on July 7, 1957, in Clintonville to Howard and Shirley Hertz.

Irvin W. Mueller
Irvin W. Mueller, 68, of Gillett, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. He was born on Sept. 7, 1953, in Oconto Falls to the late Walter and Doris (Buhrandt) Mueller. Irv grew up and lived in Gillett all his life.

Barbara M. Zabel
Barbara M. Zabel, 87, Cecil, died suddenly of natural causes Tuesday morning, Jan. 25, 2022 at home with her beloved husband and her dog, Sadie, by her side. The youngest child of 13 children was born Aug. 24, 1934, to Robert and Helen (Helm) Roehl in Lake Mills. In 1950, she married the love of her life Robert “Bob” Zabel in Watertown where they enjoyed a life of farming.

Debra Rae Rusch, 65, of Valdosta, Georgia, died on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at South Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health. She was born in Oconto Falls on July 17, 1956, and had worked many years in the banking and insurance industry. She was of the Lutheran faith. Debra loved crafts of all kinds and could make beautiful works of art out of practically anything.

Shirley Mae Page Martin
Shirley Mae Page Martin, 83, of Oconto Falls, passed away at the home of her sister on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, following a short illness. Shirley was born on May 2, 1938, in Green Bay to Oliver and Eyla (Mattox) Page. She spent most of her adult life in Dallas, Texas. Shirley worked as a waitress all her life and raised two daughters on her own, Laurie and Tammy.
