Corrine M. Cherney, 90, Green Bay, formerly of Oconto Falls, died Friday morning, Feb. 11, 2022, at a Green Bay area hospital. She was born Feb. 13, 1931 in Oconto County to James and Mildred (Kershek) Prausa. Corrine grew up in Oconto County on the family farm and graduated from Oconto Falls High School with the class of 1949. On May 13, 1950, she married Peter Cherney at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She attended Stoney Hill School, Shawano, and was a graduate of Shawano High School. She was united in marriage to Gordon G. Moede on Sept. 29, 1951 in Shawano. He died Nov.
Joyce L. Ziemer
Joyce L. (Schlintz) Ziemer, 87, went to her heavenly home on Feb. 8, 2022, surrounded by her children. Joyce was born in Appleton on March 9, 1934, to Gertrude and Ewald Griep. Sadly, her father passed away before she was born. As a young child her mother met and married Harvey Schlintz who raised her as his own and became the only father she knew. Joyce married Forrest Ziemer on Aug. 31, 1952.
Randy Mark Lemmens
Randy Mark Lemmens, 63, passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 25, 2022, in Chugiak, Alaska, after a battle with cancer. Randy was born in Clintonville on Dec. 24, 1958. He was raised in Shawano by his parents Peppen and Agnes (nee Polar), alongside nine siblings. Randy was a longtime Alaskan and beloved shopkeeper of the Rural Discount Center in Chugiak.
Glenroy H. (Tony) Tietyen
Glenroy H. (Tony) Tietyen, 93, formerly of Gillett, passed away Wednesday morning, February 2, 2022 at Care Partners Assisted Living in Weston. Tony was born on April 9, 1928, in Milwaukee, son of the late Emil and Freida (Buettner) Tietyen. He was a graduate of Gillett High School with the class of 1946. Roger Ruplinger
Roger Ruplinger, 82, Kelly Lake, died peacefully with family at his side at his home on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022. The son of Adolph Ruplinger and Agnes (Ritger) Ruplinger was born in Milwaukee where he met and married the love of his life Joanne (Lotter) Ruplinger. Together they had two daughters. Roger was a bus driver and later parts distributer for the Milwaukee County Transit Authority, retiring to Kelly Lake after over 33 years of service.
