Aldona S. Hansel

Aldona Serena Hansel, 90, a long time Lena resident passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, with her family by her side, while her favorite song, “The Blue Skirt Waltz” was playing in the background. Aldona was so special that she had two birthdays – Aug. 16, 1931 (or Aug. 15, 1931). It’s a long story — in the Chicago home of her parents, Albert and Marie (Posanka) Klivickis.

Linda J. Young, 80, of Shawano, passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 19, 2022, at her home. Linda was born Sept. 29, 1941, in New London, a daughter of the late Fred and Marcella (Helms) Kamke. She attended school in Hortonville, graduating from Hortonville High School with the Class of 1959. Following high school, Linda went to work as a secretary at an insurance company in Appleton. Judith ‘Judy’ Rae Porter-Kitson
Judith “Judy” Rae Porter-Kitson, 79, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022, in Shawano. She was born on April 25, 1942, to the late Joseph I. and Rachel Porter in Oconto Falls. On Sept. 17, 2017, Judy was united in marriage to Neil Kitson in Keshena at the Assembly of God Church. She owned her own residential cleaning business. Judy was a woman with a strong faith and loved the Lord and her church family.
Faye D. Krause
Faye D. Krause, 95, of Big Falls, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022 at her home. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
Charles D. Schill
Charles D. “Chuck” Schill Jr., 79, of Shawano, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022. Charles was born in Milwaukee on Dec. 24, 1942, son of the late Charles “Carl” and Elenore (Stasiewski) Schill Sr. On Feb. 13, 1965, Chuck was united in marriage to Margaret A. Brauer at Zion Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Chuck worked as a meat cutter for numerous grocers in Milwaukee and then in Shawano and the surrounding area.
Gertrude C. Schmidt
Gertrude C. Schmidt “Gertie,” of Wittenberg, passed away peacefully at her home on Feb. 8, 2022, surrounded by family. She was born on June 2, 1930, in Cudahy, daughter of the late Robert and Emma Bell. Gert raised her family in Waukesha until moving to the Hatley area in 1970 to operate Lost Lake Resort. She was a people person and loved the connections she made with her customers while working at Shell and North Star Casino.
Andrew J. Miller
Andrew J. Miller, 54, of Clintonville, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
