Jack J. Kaquatosh, 59, died Jan. 16, 2015. Dear son of Carl Sr. and the late Crystal. Loving brother of Clara, Linda Haapala, Cheryl Galan Martinez, the late Carol Bresette and Carl Jr. Preceded in death by nephew Michael Haapala. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and dear and special friend Roger. Visitation at Congregation of the Great Spirit, 1000 W. Lapham Blvd., Milwaukee, 5-10 p.m. Wednesday. Joan Carol Reinke
Joan Carol Reinke, 81, of Bonduel, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, in Green Bay. Joan was born on Sept. 1, 1933, in New London, the daughter of the late Donald and Loretta (Bricco) Devine. After graduating from Bear Creek High School in 1951, Joan began working in the office of Four Wheel Drive in Clintonville until Oct. 23, 1954, when she was united in marriage to Donald L. Reinke at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bear Creek.

Geraldine Helen Hauk, 86, of Shawano, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015. Geraldine was born on Nov. 15, 1928, in Gresham, the daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (Achten) Kort. Donovan Charles Glocke
Donovan Charles Glocke, 81, of Shawano, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, in Shawano. He was born on Aug. 21, 1933, in Clintonville, the son of the late Charles J. and Dorothy A. (Delaney) Glocke. Donovan graduated from Clintonville High School with the Class of 1952 and then attended Wisconsin State Teachers College and Marquette University. While in college, he worked at the Schlitz Brewery in Milwaukee.
Elden Steege
Elden Steege, 88, was born March 23, 1926, in Marion to Samuel and Lola Steege. He was united in marriage to Nadine Giessel on June 10, 1950. Elden and Nadine ran a family farm for 35 years near Marion before working for the Marion school system as a custodian. He retired to Arkansas with his wife, where he spent a great many more years enjoying his retirement before moving back to Shawano recently. Elden and Nadine enjoyed traveling the U.S.

Starting blocks for pool to be replaced
The deteriorating starting blocks at the Shawano Community High School swimming pool will be replaced as soon as possible. A unanimous vote Monday by the Shawano School Board will allow the district’s maintenance department to exceed its emergency repairs budget by up to $8,000 so the repairs can take place during the current school year. The blocks have been in place since the high school was built in 1997.
