A Gresham man died when he tried to stop a runaway vehicle Thursday afternoon. The Shawano County Sheriff’s Department says it appears John Ballbach, 75, was loading logs on the bed of the truck when the truck started to move. As he tried to stop the truck, it struck a tree, pinning Ballbach in the door of the cab. He later died from his injuries. Robert D. “Bob” Nueske, was born Feb. 22, 1947, in Wausau to Robert C. and Marie (Kobs) Nueske. In October 1966, Bob was drafted into the military. He served as a medic in Gelnhausen, Germany, until 1968, in the 3rd Armor Division of the U.S. Army. On May 17, 1969, he married Darlene Draheim. Together they made their home in Wittenberg.

Patricia A. Buhrandt, 66, Ashwaubenon, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2015. She was born on June 2, 1948, to Lester and Hilda (Peterson) Bahrke. Patti was a 1966 graduate of Green Bay East High School. On Oct. 4, 1969, she married Aaron Buhrandt at St. Paul Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death in 1995. Patti was employed at Bellin Hospital for 36 years as a nursing assistant mainly with the pediatrics and surgery floor.

Barbara Ann Zastrow, 62, of Bonduel, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at her home. Barbara was born on Nov. 4, 1952, in Watertown to the late Walter C. and Esther R. (Else) Langer. On Jan. 16, 1971, Barbara was united in marriage to Thomas D. Zastrow in Watertown. She worked as a beautician for 27 years. She owned and operated Barb’s Touch of Class in Watertown.

Regina K. Zuleger, 85, of Pulaski, passed away Wednesday morning, Jan. 14, 2015, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour. She was born Aug. 6, 1929, daughter of the late Antone and Nettie (Willenberg) Van Boxtel. On Sept. 30, 1950, she was united in marriage to Lawrence Zuleger. Regina was an active member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Navarino.
