Shawano Police Department Sept. 7 Police logged 23 incidents, including the following: Utility — A power line was reported down on a guardrail in a parking lot in the 200 block of West Green Bay Street. State health officials have allowed a Shawano County campground operator to reopen an inflatable water park that had raised regulatory concerns. Annie’s Campground, located near Gresham in the town of Seneca, received a letter Friday from the state Department of Health Services informing her that a cease-and-desist order was being lifted. The health department had imposed the order earlier this summer because of concerns that the inflatable water

Gillett City Council members are working to resolve a scheduling and overtime problem in their Police Department. In June, Alderperson Deb Erickson inquired into the number of 12-hour shifts a police officer could work in a row.

The Oconto County Health Department reported a dead crow found in Oconto County on Aug. 19 has tested positive for West Nile virus.

Oconto and Marinette County University of Wisconsin-Extension will offer a workshop designed to help winter wheat producers review their management strategies and get ready to maximize profit from their 2016 winter wheat acres. The workshop will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at the Oconto Falls Community Library, 251 N. Main St. Crops/Soils Agent Scott Reuss will lead the discussion.

Sutrick, 21, Gillett, on felony charges of possession of THC (second-plus offense) and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred July 8 in the city of Gillett. The court set a $1,500 cash bond. An Oconto Falls woman, 64, on Aug. 24 reported an incident of identity theft after the Internal Revenue Service informed her someone had filed a tax return in her name. Three individuals from Oconto Falls were cited after a disturbance Aug. 25 at a residence on North Farm Road. A boy, 17, was cited for disorderly conduct, resisting and obstructing an officer and underage drinking.
