Lawrence H. Ebert

Lawrence H. Ebert, 84, died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015, at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Antigo. Lawrence was born on Sept. 7, 1931, in the town of Larabee, Waupaca County, son of the late Herman and Alma (Schoneck) Ebert. He was baptized on Sept. 27, 1931, and confirmed on March 25, 1945. On May 1, 1971, he was united in marriage to Jackie Hoffmann at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield.
Warren R. Graf
Warren R. Graf, 62, of West Bend, was called home to be with his Lord on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015, at his home surrounded by loved ones, after he battled cancer. He was born on June 19, 1953, to Ronald and Norma (nee Kallies) Graf in Bonduel. Warren grew up in Bonduel, attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Elementary School and graduated from Bonduel High School, Class of 1971.
Earl J. Gruel
Earl Gruel, 87, of Bonduel, passed away on Friday evening, Oct. 23, 2015, at Meadow View Estates in Bonduel. Earl was born in the town of Hartland on Oct. 4, 1928, to the late Otto and Anna (Ziebarth) Gruel. Earl grew up on and later farmed the family farm in the town of Hartland. In 1975, Earl married Jerolene (nee Ponton) Commons; she preceded him in death on Oct. 5, 2001.
Maron W. Grill
Maron “Bud” W. Grill, 96, of Clintonville, passed away early Tuesday morning, Oct. 27, 2015, at Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center, Clintonville. Maron “Bud” Wenniger Grill was born July 16, 1919, in Shawano County, the son of Linus “Lynn” and Florence (Wenniger) Grill. Bud grew up on the family farm of 160 acres and also worked with his father at Grill Sand & Gravel. He was united in marriage to Lois Johnson in Shawano on Jan.
Gina E. Wagner
Gina E. Wagner, 34, of Shawano, passed away after a courageous battle with metastatic ocular melanoma. Gina was born in Minneapolis on June 24, 1981, to Sean Mahto and Victoria Wagner. She graduated from Shawano High School in 1999. Gina had a passion for music, playing both the piano and clarinet as well as singing. Her love for music led her to Lawrence University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in music in 2003.
Janet R. Garside
Janet Ruth Garside, 71, of Shawano, passed away on Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, in Appleton. Janet was born on Nov. 27, 1943, in Lancaster to the late Eugene and Lenice (Stippich) Lomas. She graduated from Fennimore High School in 1961. On March 2, 1963, Janet was united in marriage to Lawrence Garside in Fennimore. They spent 52 wonderful married years together, living in Janesville for 35 of those years.

Bonduel may force building inspection
The owner of a troubled downtown Bonduel building failed to show up for a fire department inspection of the property, village officials say. Building owner Keith Block said he was never told about the inspection, but village officials said he received notice two weeks in advance. The village is trying to determine if the deteriorated structure at 101 E. Green Bay St.
State record squashed
A squash grown by a Marion man recently set a state record at a Wisconsin Giant Pumpkin Growers weigh-in in Mishicot. Ken Williamson’s squash, on display in his front yard on Main Street, tipped the scale at 1,183 pounds, 15 pounds heavier than the previous state record. Williamson said he weighed in his squash on the last day of the group’s competition because he knew a man from Gays Mills would be entering a big one.
