Sally A. Minniecheske, 81, of the Township of Fairbanks, Shawano County, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, at Greentree Health and Rehabilitation Center, Clintonville. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville, is assisting her family.

Donald J. Bywater, 92, of Shawano, passed away on Nov. 19, 2015, at his home. Donald was born in Milwaukee on April 24, 1923, the son of the late James J. and Lena O. (Schmidt) Bywater. Donald enlisted in the United States Army in 1943. After discharge, he worked as an auto mechanic and at Allis-Chalmers before finding his job at the Milwaukee County Parks Commission. Don worked there for 34 years before his retirement.

The annual Shawano Christmas Bird Count will take place from sunrise to sunset Dec. 19. Bird watchers in the communities of Shawano, Bonduel, Adams Beach, Cecil, Belle Plaine, the Navarino Wildlife Area and the north shore of Shawano Lake will observe, identify and count birds of all kinds at feeders and along roadside fields.

Senior Garrett Siolka is looking to finish his wrestling career in a way no other from Bonduel High School ever has. Hilary M. Rosenheim, 26, of Hilliard, Ohio, and formerly of Clintonville, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, at her home. Hilary Marie Rosenheim was born on July 29, 1989, at Clintonville Hospital to John and Rita (Hicks) Rosenheim. She was raised in Clintonville and graduated from Clintonville High School in 2007.

Leon J. Hoffman, 86, of Clintonville, passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015, at ManorCare Health Services, Shawano, with his wife and three daughters by his side. Leon John Hoffman was born on April 20, 1929, in Clintonville to Louis and Lydia (Boetcher) Hoffman. After graduating from Shawano High School, he entered the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. Leon was united in marriage on Aug. 8, 1953, to Joyce F. Vanderwalker.
