Angeline F. ‘Angie’ Coon
Angeline F. “Angie” Coon, 94, passed away on Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, at her home in Cecil with her children by her side. Angie was born on Dec 5, 1929, in Cook County, Illinois, to the late James and Edna (Radtka) Margetts. On April 19, 1947, she was united in marriage to Lawrence “Tezzie” Coon in Oxford.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) announced the Wisconsin State Park System will be moving to a 12-month admission pass model. The new 12-month admission passes will be available for purchase beginning Dec. 2. The new pass model is valid for 12 months following the month of purchase, rather than expiring on Dec. 31.
