Mildred R. White, 88, Birnamwood, died on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Bohlman Manor, Birnamwood. She was born on Oct. 5, 1925, in Norrie, the daughter of the late Frank and Alma (Giese) Matz. Mildred attended Birnamwood School and also Northcentral Technical College in Antigo. She married Carlton Looney in Birnamwood on July 24, 1948.
