Carole Jean Staerkel, 76, born to eternal life on April 18, 2015. Carole was born in the town of Osborne, Outagamie County, to Ferdinand and Catherine (Ehlinger) Sigl, on Oct. 26, 1938. Upon the death of Carole’s father in January 1939, her mother moved the family to Oconto Falls, where Carole grew up and attended St. Anthony’s Grade School and Oconto Falls High School. On Oct. 29, 1955, Carole married Emory Lloyd Elbe.

Carl L. Beauprey, 94, of Shawano, passed away on Tuesday morning, April 21, 2015, in Shawano. Carl was born on July 10, 1920, in Green Bay, a son of the late Joseph and Adelaine (Eberly) Beauprey. Carl had been employed at several area Shawano businesses, including Weber Plywood and Veneer and later for the Shawano County Agricultural Society, where he parked cars for many years at the Shawano fairgrounds. He was of Catholic faith.

Irving P. “Buddy” Sehres, 66, of Gresham, formerly of Miami, Florida, died on Sunday, April 19, 2015, in Appleton. Buddy was born on Oct. 9, 1948, in Miami Beach to the late Harold N. and Elaine V. (Kuhn) Sehres. Buddy is a graduate of Miami Beach High School. He was united in marriage to Barbara Daly in Fort Lauderdale. Buddy worked in commercial real estate for 35 years and loved his job. He enjoyed the sun, swimming and going to the casino.

Gregory “Greg” L. Mack, 68, of King, formerly of rural Clintonville, passed away Sunday afternoon April 19, 2015, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. Greg was born on Nov. 27, 1946, in Milwaukee as the son of the late Howard and Marjorie (Lindsay) Mack. As a boy, he moved with his family to the area in 1957. He graduated from Shawano High School in 1966. Greg honorably served his country in the United States Navy in 1967.

George D. Ovans, 92, of Gresham, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015, in Shawano. George was born on Dec. 13, 1922, in Dorchester, to the late James and Lucille (Boyle) Ovans. He enlisted in the United States Army and served as a paratrooper during World War II. George was united in marriage to Bernadine Hoffman on May 23, 1951, in Gresham. She preceded him in death in 1995. George lived in the Gresham area most of his life.
