Nora Elsie Eunice Engel, 96, of Shawano, found peace in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, early Monday morning, Sept. 14, 2015, at the Baldwin Care Center in Baldwin, where she had relocated to be closer to her daughter, Jane. Nora was born on Jan. 1, 1919, in the town of Richmond, Shawano County, a daughter of the late Arthur and Lena (Sommers) Gueths. She attended country school in the town of Richmond.

Kayla Rose Garbelman, 26, of Oklahoma, formerly of Shawano, passed away on Aug. 28, 2015, in Oklahoma. Kayla was born in Shawano on June 13, 1989, to Michael Garbelman and Kathleen (Kempinger) Ward.

Harriet M. (Huntington) Brooks, 80, of Winter Haven, Florida, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, in Winter Haven. She was born in Shawano to the late Bert and Esther (Russell) Huntington. On Oct. 31, 1959, Harriet was united in marriage to the late Robert F. Brooks.

Roger H. “Fido” McPherson, 61, of Neopit, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015. Roger was born in Keshena on Feb. 1, 1954, the son of the late Alfred and Mildred (Dickie) McPherson. He worked as a truck driver for Schneider Trucking, Fox Midwest Trucking and then dedicated himself to Menominee Tribal Enterprises for the last 24 years.
