The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point wrestling team will host a clinic for Oconto Falls wrestlers prior to holding an intrasquad dual on Wednesday, Oct. 28. The clinic for the Panthers wrestling team will take place from 5-5:45 p.m., with the intrasquad dual starting at 6 p.m. There will also be a meet-and-greet session with the Pointers after the exhibition. The cost for the dual is $5 for adults and $3 for students.

FOOTBALL Gillett falls to Peshtigo After securing a playoff spot two weeks ago, Gillett dropped its final game of the regular season Friday in a 13-9 battle with Peshtigo for second place in the Marinette & Oconto Conference. Dale E. Groleau, 75, of Shawano, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, in the town of Seneca while hunting.
