Shoplifting was reported June 13 at the Community Memorial Hospital gift shop, 855 S. Main St. A bird house valued a $40 was missing. A guest at Coachlight Inn, 248 N. Main St., reported receiving harassing telephone messages on June 14. A male and female on Elm Street were cited for harassment June 15, after their neighbor reported a disturbance. A hit-and-run occurred at 2:46 a.m. June 15 on South Main Street when a parked 2007 Ford Taurus owned by an Oconto Fall man was sideswiped, causing extensive damage to his vehicle. Later that day, a male from Oconto Falls was cited for failure to notify police of an accident, hit and run to an unattended vehicle and inattentive driving. He allegedly drove the 2005 Ford Explorer that damaged the Taurus. A window on a front door was reported shattered June 17 at a vacant building on Central Avenue. Damage was estimated at $200. There was no indication that anyone entered the building. Several mailboxes were reported damaged June 19 on South Main Street. A resident on June 22 reported that someone had tampered with a lock on the door of a trailer home on Birch Avenue.
