Linda Rae Lambrecht, 67, of Mosinee, passed away peacefully with her children and husband by her side on Aug. 2, 2021, nearly five years after being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. She was born Nov. 30, 1953, the fourth of five children, to Harry and Nellie Krumrie. Linda spent her early childhood in Menomonie, later moving with the family to Wittenberg.

 Hazel Dorothy Collins, 95, of Cecil, peacefully passed away on June 13, 2021. Hazel was born Feb. 12, 1926, to Roland and Julia (Micoley) Martineau in Spruce. After graduating from Oconto Falls High School in 1944, she worked in Milwaukee followed by a long career at Seneca. There was a young man named Gordon Schaal who fell in love with the beautiful woman getting off a train that he and his sister Dort were on, returning from Milwaukee.

Stephen R. Schuettpelz, 70, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021, after being admitted to the ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. He was born on Jan. 5, 1951, in Suring to Roy and Mavis Schuettpelz. They raised him and his brothers, Marty and Les, on a farm in the Town of Breed. As defensive tackle for the Suring Eagles, he was one of many local heroes when they won the M&O Championship in 1965.

Rosella “Rose” Antonette Ryczek, 85, of Abrams, passed away peacefully on Aug. 1, 2021. Rose was born Aug. 30, 1935, in Wausaukee to the late Anton and Caroline (DeGroot) Edlbeck. She married Ernest (Ernie) J. Ryczek on May 23, 1957. Those who knew Rose would always feel a warm welcome and a feeling of being family. She was the most generous person and a devout Catholic.

Barbara A. Peskie, 86, of Clintonville, formerly of the Town of Pella, passed away on Monday, Aug. 2, 2021, at her home. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home and Crematory in Clintonville is assisting the family.

Staff Sergeant (ret.) Mark Allen Blood, 55, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 26, 2021, at his home in Hinesville, Georgia. Mark was born May 21, 1966, to his parents, Gary and Dolores Blood from Birnamwood. Mark was a graduate of Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School Class of 1984. Mark proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he was active duty for four years before getting out and rejoining with the National Guard/MATES.
