James Jerome “Jimmy” Buss, 89, formerly of Eland, died on Dec. 31, 2022, at Rosemary Manor in Mattoon. James was born May 3, 1933, in Eland, the son of Anton and Victoria (Wojciechowski) Buss Sr. James was a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1954 to 1956. On Feb. 9, 1963, James was united in marriage to Bernice Meverden at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Birnamwood.

Jean M. Lamers, 74, of Shawano, passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 28, 2022, at ThedaCare Medical Center-Appleton. Jean was born Feb. 1, 1948, in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late Bernard and Rachel (Krause) Karcz. On Oct. 21, 1995, Jean was united in marriage to Edward Lamers in Shawano. She was employed as an accountant throughout her life. Jean was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Doris Elaine Blanchard, 99, of Shawano, formerly of Manitowoc, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022. Doris was born on Jan. 12, 1923, to the late Ervin and Elizabeth (Sanville) Rudebeck in Two Rivers. On Dec. 27, 1941, Doris was united in marriage to Edwin C. Blanchard in Manitowoc. Doris was a Green Bay Packers shareholder and enjoyed watching and cheering on her team.

Ralph G. (never Ralph Gordon) Klatt, 80, of Shawano, died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022, under the exceptional care of many wonderful nurses, CNAs, and staff at Woodside Hollyberry. Ralph was born on May 28, 1942, in Milwaukee, the son of the late Gordon and Arleen (Nearing) Klatt. He was a proud graduate of Greendale High School. Ralph attended UW-Milwaukee and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
