Edward Warren Moede
Edward Warren Moede, 74, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023, in Neenah. Ed was born in Green Bay on Aug.9, 1948, son of the late Warren and Ila Mae (Hill) Moede. Ed was a resident of Shawano and lived in the area for many years. He also spent time living in Green Bay and the Fox Valley. Ed attended Carroll College and law school at the University of Louisville. He loved to travel, often by car, and visited 48 out of 50 states.
Ron W. Thomson
Ron W. Thomson, 84, Oconto Falls, died peacefully Saturday afternoon, Jan. 7, 2023, at home surrounded by his family. Although he passed a few weeks before their 64th wedding anniversary, he will be in Karen’s heart “until we meet again.” He was born July 3, 1938, in the family home in rural Coleman to Henry and Evelyn (Lhotte) Thomson. Ron grew up in Coleman where he attended school and moved to Oconto Falls while in high school.
Joan E. (Krakovec) Ninham
Joan E. (Krakovec) Ninham, 88, passed away on Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, in Oneida. She was born Oct. 11, 1934, in Michigan, where she lived most of her life. Duane “Wayne Sr.” F. Gauger, age 74, of Rothschild, formerly of Clintonville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, at Edgewater Haven in Port Edwards. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory of Clintonville is assisting his family.
David A. Krause
David A. Krause, 77, beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, Jan. 5, 2023, at Select Specialty Hospital in Madison with his family at his side due to complications from a recent stroke. David Allen Krause was born on Feb. 14, 1945, in Shawano as the son of the late Adolph and Dorothy (Haut) Krause.
Ann Block
Ann Block, 101, of Wittenberg, died on Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, at Homme Home of Wittenberg. Ann was born April 22, 1921, in Waupaca County, the daughter of Edward and Matilda (Brennenstuhl) Luckjohn. On Nov. 2, 1940, Ann was united in marriage to Benjamin Block in Waupaca County.
