Russell J. Kostreva

Russell James Kostreva, 86, of Pound, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021. He was born April 7, 1935, to the late Emery and Esther (Tachick) Kostreva. He married the former Lois Lucille Tachick on June 23, 1956, at the Pound Assembly of God Church. Russell loved farming and was proud to pass on the family farm.

James Mervale Barshaw
James Mervale Barshaw, 85, of Fox Point, passed away in the early morning of Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021, at the Aurora Zilber Hospice facility in Wauwatosa. He was born on Nov. 17, 1935, in Neenah to Walter and Marcella (Gitter) Barshaw. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1956 at Ft. Leonard Wood in Missouri. His working career was centered within the printing industry. James (Jim) raised a family of four children with his wife, Shirley (Cotner).
Marty J. Carpenter
Marty J. Carpenter, 54, Bonduel, died unexpectedly Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, at ThedaCare Medical Center in Waupaca, following injuries from a motor vehicle accident. He was born July 4, 1967, to Hollis and Lucy (Oskey) Carpenter. Marty was a 1985 graduate of Seymour High School, and he continued his education at UW-Oshkosh, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1989.

Harrison Russ, son of Spencer and Wally Russ, was born into his eternal life on Sept. 5, 2021. He will forever be loved and remembered by his parents and family. Terrence W. Deruchowski
Terrence “Terry” aka “Coach Bear” W. Deruchowski, 72, of Clintonville passed away peacefully Monday morning, Sept. 6, 2021, at Care Partners Assisted Living in Clintonville. Terry was born on June 19, 1949, in Wausau, the son of the late Theodore and Gilda (Hubert) Deruchowski. He graduated from Wittenberg High School with the Class of 1968.

Robert J. (Bob) Quade, 73, gently left this earth and went to his heavenly reward on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. A celebration of life will take place at Zippel Park, 150 N. McKenzie St., Gillett, on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, from 1-5 p.m.
