Austin Olsen set a Gresham/Bowler high school record in the 300-meter hurdles as the boys track team took second Thursday at the Weyauwega-Fremont Open in Weyauwega.
Olsen broke the 300 record with a time of 41.83 seconds. He also won the 110 hurdles and the 200 dash.
Drew Payne won four events, taking firsts in the triple jump, long jump, 100 dash and 4x100 relay with Trace Miller, Brandon Miller and Joe Serrano. Cody Montez won the 1,600 and 3,200 runs. Andrew Pleshek won the high jump.
Marion’s Cole Drafahl won the discus and shot put.
The Gresham/Bowler girls 4x800 relay team of Lindsay Anderson, Tatelyn Ferguson, Alyssa Roe and Saychia Wayka also placed first.
Lonna Miniecheske, Karli Minniecheske, Charity Desrochers and Katie Watters set a Tigerton High School record in the 4x100 relay.
Marion’s Cassidy Detert won the discus and shot put.
