The Northeastern Wisconsin Concert Band will present its spring concert at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at the Marinette High School auditorium.
The band is composed of school music professionals and other adults who enjoy sharing their love of music with the public. Conductors will be Glen Reinke and Bob Berndt.
The band features music for the entire family, including modern jazz, Hollywood musical tunes and classic symphonic pieces. Often the band highlights talents of its members, and this concert will feature “The Elephant and the Flea.” Playing the part of the elephant will be Brian Chaltry on tuba, and the flea will be Deb Highlen on piccolo.
Tickets for this concert will be available at the door for $5 for adults and $2 for students.
