Machickanee Players to present comedy

The ladies who live at 909 Sycamore St. have found a new hobby, and it’s not bird watching. They have discovered the handsome police detective who lives across the street and are determined that he will come over for tea, no matter what it takes. What it takes is a murder—or two. Laugh-out loud moments ensue in the play “Bull in a China Shop,” written by C. B. Gilford and presented by the Machickanee Players. The second production of the group’s 31st season will be performed with dinner shows at 7 p.m. April 25 and 26 and May 3. Cost is $25 with payment in advance. Stand-alone shows will be presented at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 27, and 7 p.m. Friday, May 2. Tickets are $12 in advance and $14 at the door. A dessert matinee will be presented at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 4.
