A preliminary hearing was held for Michael R. Knight, 32, Oconto Falls, on a charge of strangulation and suffocation, domestic abuse, which allegedly occurred Feb. 28 in Oconto Falls. A cash bond of $500 continues. An arraignment is April 10.
Proceedings from March 25
Ryan L. Lunzmann, 31, Oconto, pleaded no contest to forgery, which occurred Sept. 19 in Oconto. He was sentenced to nine months jail, imposed and stayed, and two years in the Volunteers in Probation program. He must pay restitution of $497.24 and serve five days in jail.
Matthias C. Andrews, 25, Abrams, pleaded not guilty to strangulation and suffocation, which allegedly occurred Jan. 20 in Oconto. A cash bond of $1,000 is continued. A pretrial conference is May 8.
Dylan J. Wittock, 20, Lena, pleaded no contest to burglary of a building as party to a crime on May 9 in Stiles. He was sentenced to 18 months incarceration and two years extended supervision. Three misdemeanor counts were read in and dismissed.

A sentencing hearing was held for Robert S. Brostrom, 77, Abrams, on charges of operating while intoxicated, fifth or sixth offense, on Aug. 25 in Abrams. He was sentenced to two years incarceration and three years extended supervision. His license is revoked 36 months, ignition interlock 36 months, and he is not to operate a motor vehicle without a valid license. He must complete AODA and follow-up program and must not possess nor consume any alcohol or illegal drugs. A felony charge of operating with prohibited alcohol concentration, fifth or sixth offense offense, alcohol fine enhancer was dismissed. A felony charge of operating while intoxicated, fifth or sixth offense offense, was read-in and dismissed.
A plea and sentencing hearing was held for Lauren S. Ireland, 34, Green Bay, on a charge of burglary of a building or dwelling as party to a crime, which occurred on May 10 in Chase. She pleaded no contest, and the court withheld sentencing for up to two years. She was sentenced to six months jail, imposed and stayed, and two years probation. She must pay restitution of $4,146.45. She must maintain absolute sobriety and not possess nor consume any alcohol or illegal drugs. She is to continue any current treatment and complete a 90-day jail sentence from Brown County.
A continued initial appearance was held for Alex M. Johnson, 18, Green Bay, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent, which allegedly occurred March 4 in Abrams. He pleaded not guilty. A bond of $1,000 continues. A plea and sentencing hearing is March 20.
A preliminary hearing was held for Johnny Reed, 34, Oconto, on a felony charge of robbery with use of force as party to a crime, which allegedly occurred Nov. 29 in Oconto. He was bound over for arraignment. A cash bail of $10,000 continues. An arraignment and pretrial conference is May 2.

An adjourned initial appearance was held for Paul D. Dubois, 40, Crivitz, on a charge of substantial battery-intend bodily harm, which allegedly occurred Feb. 16 in the town of Riverview. A cash bail of $1,000 continues. A preliminary hearing is April 23.
An initial appearance was held for Chaun C. Lesage, 34, Townsend, on a charge of manufacture/deliver THC, which allegedly occurred on July 25 in Townsend. A cash bond of $2,000 was set. A preliminary hearing is April 28.
An adjourned initial appearance was held for Daniel B. Schuettpelz, 34, Sobieski, on charges of operating while intoxicated, fifth or sixth offense, on Jan. 15 in Little Suamico. A cash bond of $2,000 is continued. A preliminary hearing is April 11.
A pretrial conference was held for Samantha A. Martine, 24, Thorp, on a charge of hit-and-run, involving injury, which allegedly occurred Aug. 24 in Stiles. A cash bond of $5,000 continues. A preliminary hearing is April 17.
