Violet “Vi” M. Roloff

Violet May Roloff, 88, passed away at home in Shawano, on Sunday, March 13, 2022. Vi was born June 13, 1933, in Tigerton, to Joseph and Alice (Malueg) Fournier. She loved school and graduated from Marion High School in 1951. She married Earl Roloff on July 21, 1951, and moved to Shawano. Vi’s first job in Shawano was at Montgomery Ward. In 1953, she started working at Citizens State Bank.
Esther M. Hougaard
Esther Marie (Gandt) Hougaard, 95, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2022 at St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls following a lengthy illness with family by her side. Esther was born on January 13, 1927, to Francis (Wusterbarth) and Fred Gandt in the Town of Gillett and was raised on the family farm. On Nov. 17, 1946, Esther married Howard T. Hougaard.
Janice A. Schroeder
Janice A. Schroeder, 81, of the Town of Matteson, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 10, 2022. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home and Crematory in Clintonville is assisting the family.
Richard “Richie” John Ferfecki
Richard “Richie” John Ferfecki, 84, Krakow, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. The son of John and Lucille (Liss) Ferfecki was born at home Sept. 4, 1937, in Little Suamico. Richie graduated from Pulaski High School with the Class of 1955. Following high school, he helped out on Mama and Tata’s farm. On Sept. 9, 1961, Richie married Judy Blohowiak at Assumption B.V.M. Church, Pulaski.
Caroline A. Lisowe
Caroline A. Lisowe, 84, of Gillett, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022. Caroline was born on Jan. 29, 1938, to the late Jacob and Lydia (Fox) Cook in Montana. She moved to Wisconsin to be a dairy farmer. Caroline also owned a greenhouse and an upholstery shop. Before retiring, she worked as a manager in a factory. Caroline moved to Gillett in 1973 and married Donald Lisowe Sr. on Nov. 15, 1974. She was a loving mother, raising six children.
Roger Schneider
Roger Schneider was ushered into the presence of his Savior, March 2, 2022, at the age of 63. He was born in Wausau on March 19, 1958. He was the owner/manager of Wittenberg True Value and served this community for 26 years. He trusted Jesus Christ as Savior in August 1974, which forever changed his life.
Jean R. Regal
Jean R. Regal, age 78, of Suring, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Jean was born Jan. 12, 1944, to the late Alvin and Ruby (Oestrich) Schmelling. On the night of her birth, Dr. Dougherty rode out to the family farm with his horse and buggy and stayed overnight. For grade school, Jean attended the two-room schoolhouse in Frostville. At 16, Jean fell in love with Arthur Regal, and they married Oct. 8, 1960.
