Michael J. Elko

Michael J. Elko, 75, of Gillett, passed away at his residence on Friday, December 31, 2021. He was born on November 25, 1946 in Oconto County, son of the late Michael and Esther (Kolby) Elko. Michael served in active duty in the U.S. Navy from 1965-1969. He served in the reserves from 1969 until his honorable discharge as an E6 petty officer in 1990. Donna M. Harris
Donna Marie (Bushman) Harris, 52, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on March 26, 2022. She was born Jan. 11, 1970, to Norman Bushman and the late Bette Baenen. Donna attended Oconto Falls public schools and later went on to marry the love of her life, Danny Harris, on June 26, 1995. Together they raised two sons. Donna provided in-home childcare for 10 years.
Gina Joan McMaster
Gina Joan McMaster, 61, of Granite Canon, passed away Dec. 19, 2021, to be with her Lord and Savior. Gina was born April 14, 1960, in Shawano to Robert and Leatrice (Askdal) Patterson. She married James Michael McMaster on July 29, 2013, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Gina received a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Wisconsin. She worked for many years at Clure Brothers Furniture. Gina was a wonderful wife and stepmother.
James K. Rifenbergh
On Saturday, March 28, 2022, James Rifenbergh passed away peacefully, owing to complications of dementia. Jim was born in Oconto Falls on Sept. 21, 1930. His birth, during the Great Depression, was a blessing to his parents, the late Kent and Marvel (Peterson) Rifenbergh. Jim graduated from Washington High School, where he excelled in sports and earned an Eagle Scout badge.
Robert L. Price Jr.
Robert Louis Price Jr. (Big City Bob) was born May 20, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois. Bob was called to his heavenly home on March 24, 2022, in Cape Coral, Florida. He is survived by his sisters, Deb (Steve) Borroughs, of Shawano, Cynthia LiVigni, of Shawano, and brother, Ronald (Fabian) Price, of Chicago, Illinois.
Julie A. Hansen (nee Voigt)
Julie A. Hansen (nee Voigt), 60, of Waldo, formerly of Shawano, passed away Friday morning, March 25, 2022, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. She was born on Nov. 4, 1961 in Sheboygan, a daughter of the late Ronald Voigt and Joy (Williamson) Robinson. Julie attended Waldo and Sheboygan Falls grade schools and graduated from Racine Park High School in 1980. On Feb. 29, 1992, she married Thomas Hansen. He preceded her in death on Aug.
Joanne Monfort
Joanne Monfort, 82, Kelly Lake, died Friday evening, March 18, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. She was born April 2, 1939, to Edward and Louise (Yakel) Skarban. On Feb. 27, 1965, she married James Monfort at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spruce. The couple made their home into a family farm near Kelly Lake, where they raised beef cattle and horses. Joanne retired from Coleman Products.
